Makes 3 to 3-1/2 dozen.

This is a delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe.  YUM.  YUM.  TRIPLE YUM.
Source: Diana Lee in A Taste of Bay cookbook

1 c. (2 sticks) softened butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1-1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2-1/2 t. vanilla extract
2-1/2 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 t. salt
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1-1/2 bags (12 oz. each) semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla.  Sift together the flours, salt, baking powder and baking soda.  Combine the wet and dry ingredients.  Stir in chocolate chips.  Place rounded tablespoons of dough on a cookie sheet and bake for 9 minutes or until edges are light brown.  Do not overbake.

  1. YUM! YUM! YUM! They were great and addicting! I am an impatient cookie baker so I made some and then threw the rest of the batter into a pie pan and made my own cookie pie. Holy crap! I ate it all. ;)
